Vera Wang first entered the world of high couture as a child while shopping with her mother in New York and Paris.
After a world-class secondary and university education, she moved to Paris to study fashion at the Sorbonne. At age 23, she became the youngest fashion editor ever at Vogue. She went on to become a design director for Ralph Lauren after serving for 16 years.
In 1990, she unveiled her flagship store, located on Manhattan’s famous Madison Avenue and launched her own line.
