Naeem Khan

Growing up in India, Naeem Khan was surrounded by culture and beauty and influenced greatly by his grandfather and father, both well-known Indian designers and whose clothing was worn by the royal families.  Under their watchful eyes, he cultivated an immense knowledge of textiles and developed a passion for handmade garments.  As a teenager, Khan moved to the U.S. and began his apprenticeship with Halston.  It was during this time that Khan’s own personal design style was born.

His style is lavish, consisting of expertly cut dresses, elegant separates and refined gowns.  Also, drawing from his childhood, all are beautifully hand embroidered.  He finally put that style on display in 2003 when he launched his collection, Naeem Khan, and began selling it at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue.  His reputation has continued to grow and his designs are now sold specialty stores throughout the world.

In 2013, Khan debuted Naeem Khan Bridal to rave reviews and instantly began selling his gowns globally at retails such as Bergdorf Goodman, Mark Ingram Bridal Atelier, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, and to a devoted following including starlets and socialites like Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Penelope Cruz, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, Katy Perry, First Lady Michelle Obama and Queen Noor of Jordan.  You can also see his outstanding work in films like Sex & the City and Dreamgirls.
