Francesca Miranda

Salvadorian fashion designer, Francesca Miranda, comes by good taste and a great eye for design naturally.  Her mother taught her that simplicity was beautiful and her father helped to cultivate her love for fashion and style.  As a designer of made to measure skirts and ties, Miranda’s father understood the importance of fine silks and the value of a well made garment.

Francesca Miranda began her career in fashion design in 1995 with the launch of her Francesca Miranda collection, a men’s only collection.  Fashion insiders found were awestruck by her use of bold colors in the line.  It wasn’t until 2000 that she quietly began exploring woman’s wear.  By 2003, she was showing her collection on the runways at Milan Fashion Week. And, by 2010, she was opening her third Francesca Miranda store in Cartegena, Columbia and was in New York breaking into the bridal business.  Previously, she had only created custom made gowns, as expected she brought the same couture level of design, attention to detail, level of luxury and expertise to her new bridal collection.

She is known worldwide for her commitment to craftsmanship and her ability to take luxury and good taste to the next level.  Her designs are sold in Dubai, Russia, the USA, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, Columbia, Panama and El Salvador.  You may also find Francesca Miranda creations on celebrities such as Rebecca Mader, Sofia Milos and Elisabeth Rohm.
